Founding partner Mickey Faigen’s
understanding that solutions to problems involving business,
government and the public often fall outside traditional legal
approaches was fundamental to his creation of Issues Management
and the formation of the Issues Management team. His method
of problem-solving has been so successful that Issues Management
is often recognized as one of the state’s top public
affairs groups.
Mickey advises a diverse group of corporate
and individual clients in the public affairs arena. He is acknowledged
for his leadership and expertise in handling complex issue-oriented
problems with particular expertise in real estate and development,
health policy, energy, the environment, insurance, campaign finance
and related corporate matters. His ability to successfully achieve
change by creating new possibilities and managing diverse interests
is unique in the industry.
Mickey’s direct government experience
includes positions as counsel to a United States Senator and
special assistant to the New Jersey Attorney General. His client
list includes firms ranging in size from the Fortune 200 to America’s
fastest growing privately held companies. He holds a master’s
degree in public policy from the University of Pennsylvania,
a degree in law from Rutgers University, and frequently speaks
and writes on the interaction of the press, politics and policy
formulation.
Mickey is active in alumni affairs at Princeton
University where he received his undergraduate degree from the
Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. He
currently serves as chair of the Princeton area Alumni Schools
Committee. He was formerly a member of the National Schools Committee
